Registered under Real Estate & Business Brokers Act as salesman in 1973, (Seneca College), licensed with father’s firm Gillen Associates in 1973, Registered under Real Estate & Business Act as broker in 1976, (George Brown College) Member of Toronto Real Estate Board, Ontario Realtors Association, Canadian Real Estate Association since 1973. Served on Ethics Committee (Appeals) of The Toronto Real Estate Board 1993-1994. Kevin's father was the founder and president of Gillen Associates Real Estate Ltd. from 1956 until 1978 when the partnership was dissolved. This firm was involved with commercial, retail, and residential redevelopment as agents and as principals. Although licensed with this firm in 1973, and having been virtually raised in the real estate marketing business, it was not until 1975 that Kevin went to work full time at Gillen Associates as a salesman. At this time, he became a member of the Toronto Real Estate Board registering first as a sales representative and then as a broker in 1976. Kevin is now a 25-year member of the Board.
