For nearly 20 years, KC Willis has worked in commercial real estate throughout Central Texas, having been involved in some of the region’s most signature developments. He has devoted his professional career to helping developers and landowners with their commercial property needs. His clients include nationally known developers, homebuilders, investment groups and civic/non-profit organizations. Today, KC helps his clients with new and redevelopment opportunities, sometimes complex in nature, that are shaping the rapidly evolving Central Texas landscape. He does this by offering big-picture thinking, proven problem-solving skills and a steady hand. Prior to founding The Willis Company in 2003, KC was a partner at Duncan Commercial, where he worked on numerous land deals with Joe Duncan, one the most prominent brokers in Austin. While there, KC was involved in several mixed-use commercial parks, such as Four Points Centre, Bluestein Park, Heatherwilde Park and Quest Center. He began his career in real estate at Trammell Crow and worked in both the Austin and San Antonio offices. During his time with the company, KC was exposed to some incredibly exciting deals, including Research Park in Austin and The Quarry in San Antonio. Active in the community, KC has served on numerous boards and working taskforces, including The Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA); the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce; Austin Commercial Real Estate Society (ACRES); and the Texas A&M University College of Liberal Arts Alumni Advisory Board, to name a few. He currently sits on RECA’s executive committee having served as board chair in 2014. KC graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. degree in communications and later earned his MBA from Texas State University.
