Kathy Baker
Kathy Baker was born and raised in Carmel Valley California. She attended Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo and moved back to the area to begin a career in Broadcast Radio. She was on air and in sales and was promoted to Local and National Sales Manager for a group of Radio Stations. Eventually promoted to Executive Vice President for Buckley Radio out of New York and managed all of their 11 California properties. Based in Monterey Kathy oversaw all of the managers in California and continued to be the General Manager of the three properties in Monterey. After a 29-year successful career in Management for Buckley she assisted the widow of the company in selling off all of the properties after her husband’s passing. Kathy has served on many local boards in the area and is the ex-president of the California State Broadcasters Association for Radio and Television. She was hired by a three station television group in 2016 to be their director of Sales and National Sales Manager but decided to leave that position in 2018 to pursue a career in Real Estate. Kathy has a passion for the Monterey Peninsula and knows the area very well. She has owned homes in Monterey and Carmel Valley and currently lives in the Upper Carmel Valley area and owns a vineyard with her winemaker, real estate broker Salvatore Rombi.
