Karen Gargaro

Since 2012, Karen has been focused on retail Real Estate, specializing in Tenant and Landlord representation, both on the leasing and selling of centers throughout the state of Michigan. Her passion in the industry has allowed her to give her clients the best outcome and become a trusted advisor to landlords and tenants alike. Karen has been a Sales Associate at Mid America Real Estate- Michigan Inc. for the past 11 years. Her product portfolio ranges from single tenant buildings/pad sites to large box power centers. Many of her listings are Grocery anchored with outlot buildings. She represents both new and preexisting construction. Her responsibilities include marketing retail space for landlords and finding new/re-locations for tenants. She advises her clients on deal structure as well as negotiation from letter of intent though lease execution. Karen attended Central Michigan University her Freshman year of College and transferred to Oakland University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is on the board of the Next Generation Committee. Karen handles leasing and tenant representation for many local and national clients. Some of the many landlords she represents include: Kimco Realty, Grand Sakwa, Lormax Stern Development, Viking Partners, The Kroenke Group and First Holdings Management. She also exclusively represents tenants such as Sedona Taphouse, Pizza Ranch, Lands End, among others. Karen has quickly become a valued member of Mid-America’s Real Estate team.
