Julie brings a commanding level of expertise and knowledge to GPE with over 20 years of experience in healthcare real estate sales, leasing and development. Her ability to accurately read local market conditions and forecast trends, along with her extensive network of connections among local business and community leaders firmly position her among the most qualified specialists in her field and a valuable catalyst in commercial real estate transactions. Julie launched her career in commercial real estate in 1989 following a position in advertising sales with the highly respected Phoenix Business Journal. It is there that she began forging relationships with key members of the hospital and healthcare community, expanding her knowledge base of the industry and honing her skills in sales, market analysis and transaction management. Three short years after the move to commercial real estate, Julie earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. Julie uses those sharpened analytical skills today to assist clients with demographic, market, investment and comparative lease analysis. Her solid understanding of issues such as managed care, medical reimbursement issues tenant improvements make her an indispensable resource to her clients. Julie attended Arizona State University on academic scholarships from Phelps Dodge and the state of Arizona and earned a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering. She is an active member of professional groups such as the National Association of Realtors, the Arizona Association of Realtors and AZCREW (Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women), as well as involved supporter of Arizona Friends of Public Radio and the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. Julie shares her home with two dogs and a photo gallery of her adventures hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro, Formula Ford car racing and hot air ballooning on three continents.
