Julie Buxton began her commercial real estate career in 2005 with Trammell Crow Company, Dallas, TX. When TCC was purchased by CBRE in 2007 she transitioned with the company and moved from Dallas to Chicago. Buxton joined McGraw Commercial Properties in April 2019. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Tulsa and her MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago. Her experience includes representing FedEx Kinko’s Office for national retail site selection as well as project office leasing including the Infomart, a Class A 1.6M-sq ft office building comprised of both colocation suites and traditional office space. Most recently, she worked in global corporate services with Google, Avery Dennison, Microsoft and several other Fortune 300 companies as well privately held entities across a variety of industries. While transacting on behalf of FedEx Kinko’s Office, Buxton executed the largest number of lease approvals among the national transaction managers, maintained the largest site pipeline, and received an award for outstanding customer satisfaction from the national FedEx Kinko's Office team. Outside of her experience as a commercial real estate agent, she has worked as an energy trader as well as having been responsible for corporate merger and acquisitions. Additionally, she is a graduate of LEADNorth, a program under Leadership Tulsa designed to attract and train local leaders who are interested in leading change for the improvement of the North Tulsa community. In her spare time, Buxton volunteers with her church, Habitat for Humanity, and owns a business, GiFTT (Global Fair Trade Treasures), which is a retailer and wholesaler of handmade certified fair trade items from Africa.
