A 40-year industry veteran, Judy’s experience in the real estate industry includes managing office and medical buildings, retail centers, apartments and includes sales. She earned her Certified Property Manager designation through The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 1978 being the first to achieve this designation in Fort Worth, Texas. The Ridglea Village Shopping Centers she managed won two consecutive “most beautiful landscape” awards. During her Vice-Presidency at The Weitzman Group, she was responsible for a portfolio of two million square feet for a large insurance company’s investment department. In year 2000 she moved to Houston and joined WQFredricks Commercial as Director of Property Management. She joined Vista Management in 2007 as General Manager over their newly developed 450,000 SF mixed-use development: LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas. She served on the Board of Directors of the Cinco Ranch Commercial Association. When the property sold in 2017, she left Vista but returned again in 2019 where she has returned to a Commercial Portfolio Management position for both Vista Equities developed properties and third-party landlords using her wide knowledge of management concepts and styles to satisfy various owners. Judy sets a high standard of performance for herself with frequent inspections and keeping in touch with her tenants to make sure each property is well maintained. She monitors expenses making sure the best quality products are used at the lowest possible price with her goal to assure each property under her watch is performing at its highest and best use.
