Joshua LaFico

Joshua LaFico is a Managing Director with Newmark’s Austin office. LaFico’s expertise is in the representation of tenants and owners in office leasing and sales transactions. LaFico has executed on over $300,000,000 worth of transactions over the last 3-years. He has negotiated with and on behalf of several of Central Texas’ more notable firms including but not limited to Ascension Seton Healthcare, Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), Curative, Splunk, Ultra Clean Technologies, Skyworks, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Kuka Robotics, USA Compression Partners, Green Dot Corporation, Owens & Minor, FloSports, UiPath, GTT Communications, Live Nation, Wittliff Cutter LLP, Greenberg Traurig LLP, BOX, CONN’s, Central Health, Conduit Global (KGB), CGI Federal, STG International, and Clear. Prior to his role a broker LaFico was as a Senior Property Manager. He was responsible for all third-party, property management projects in Central Texas, which included flex/industrial, office, medical office and retail centers located in both Austin and San Antonio, Texas. LaFico served as the National Single Point of Contact for the NMRK management contract with American Healthcare Investors (4mm SF). During his tenure in property management LaFico was actively involved in the negotiation and acquisition of contracted property management service for over 1.0 million square feet. His portfolio stretched from San Antonio to Austin via the Interstate 35 corridor. LaFico joined Newmark in 2012. He previously worked at Grubb & Ellis Management Services, where he was a Property Manager from 2008 to 2012. He began his career in 2007 as a real estate assistant with NAI REOC Partners (now REOC San Antonio).
