Josh Carter, CCIM

Born in Dallas, Josh is a native Texan. After graduating from Baylor University in 1999, he chose to make Waco his home. Josh's real estate practice is limited solely to commercial and investment properties. He has extensive experience with virtually every commercial property type, including retail, industrial, office, multi-family, raw land, restaurant, medical, and special purpose properties. Josh is also well-acquainted with a variety of transactions and projects, including acquisitions, site selection and development, leasing, sub-leasing, 1031-exchanges, portfolios, tax value protests and consulting. Having served in numerous civic positions, such as past Chairman of the Waco City Plan Commission , past Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustments, and past member of the Waco - McLennan County Metropolitan Planning Organization, etc., Josh is knowledgeable of many community activities, development patterns and local real estate trends. His past clientele have ranged from local "mom-and-pop" shops, to regional franchisees, to mid-sized privately-held portfolios, to multiple publicly-traded Fortune 500 companies. Josh is an exercise enthusiast, youth sports coach, "do-it-yourselfer", and, most of all, enjoys being a dad and spending time with his three children.
