Joseph Lin
With 16 years of experience with fortune 20 companies as a Petroleum Geologist and Engineer, plus 5 years of real estate development experience, Mr. Lin joined CB Richard Ellis in 1994 as an Investment/Industrial specialist. In a short period of time, he established himself as one of the top Asian-American commercial real estate professionals in North America. He is the founding member of the Greater China Desk which is a CBRE business line. He joined Lee & Associates as a Principal in 2006. In 2009, Mr. Lin was elected as the first Asian-American Board of Director of the American Industrial Real Estate Association (AIR CRE), was elected President for 2016, and currently is the member of executive committee. Joe joined Colliers International as a Senior Vice President in 2012 and came aboard Voit Real Estate Services in 2015. Joe is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and some Southern Chinese dialects. His multi-language and culture understanding, along with extensive relationships with major users in the marketplace greatly enhances his relationship with clients. He plays a key role in establishing many US Asia Pacific business opportunities for international corporations and local Southern California cities. Joe earned a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Geology at Texas A&M University and completed executive training from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Business. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Chinese Culture.
