Johnathan Weigand

Johnathan joined J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc in 2018. His primary focus within the commercial division is in the retail and hospitality sectors, including, but not limited to, restaurants, hotels, nightlife concepts, etc. Prior to returning to Wichita, Johnathan was engaged by Steel Pier Capital, a New York City-based venture capital firm, where he was a specialist in the entertainment & media division raising capital for hospitality venues and entertainment related start up companies. After three years in New York, Johnathan, driven by his long family history in real estate, relocated to Denver, Colorado to take a position with Unique Properties as a broker associate in commercial real estate, specializing in acquisition and sale transactions. With his background in entrepreneurial business, and having distinguished success in raising capital, Johnathan set his sights on making a mark on the fields of travel and aviation, both areas of passionate interest to him. With a vision to set a new standard in service, safety, reliability, and value, Johnathan and his partner founded Goldstar Jets, Inc. where he served as President and CEO. While he has assumed a more secondary role, he maintains a board seat with the company. Johnathan is excited to return to his roots here in Wichita bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and leadership from his previous experiences in the marketplace.
