After receiving his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas and legal practice in Colorado, John came to New Mexico in 1988 to restructure development properties for the commercial subsidiaries of the Public Service Company of New Mexico in five western states. Other notable domestic and international transactions have ranged from ski and resort properties in Colorado and New Mexico towns like Aspen, Beaver Creek and Santa Fe, to resort developments in Latin America and Alberta, Canada.
