John O'Brien

Not long after attending Eastern Michigan University, Mr. O’Brien pursued a career as an industrial electrician while also obtaining his builder’s license. In early 1997, however, he was given an opportunity to enter the field of commercial/industrial real estate sales and hasn’t looked back since. With over five years of previous industrial construction experience, he has a unique perspective of the industry not shared by many other real estate professionals. With that experience and the knowledge obtained in real estate sales, he has personally closed over 550 transactions, culminating in the sale or lease of well over 4,500,000 square feet of commercial and industrial buildings, and many acres of vacant land for future development. These transactions are valued in excess of $150,000,000.00. In 2013, Mr. O’Brien became a Principal in Burger & Company. A few of Mr. O’Brien’s notable clients include transactions with Toyota, Michigan CAT, Concord EMS, Pace Mechanical Systems, Dantom Systems, Motion Control Corporation and McLaren Engines. Today, Mr. O’Brien generates office, retail and industrial real estate transactions in an area, which includes Oakland County and North Western Wayne County among others. Having resided most of his life in the metropolitan Detroit area, Mr. O’Brien’s first-hand knowledge of the area gives him an added advantage over the competition.
