John Marshall

John Marshall is an Executive Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield since July 2022. John brings a deep understanding of the South Florida market having spent the last 26 years transacting deals across the region. Prior to rejoining Cushman & Wakefield, John was a Managing Director of JLL Brokerage for seven years and was a Managing Principal of Cresa South Florida for five years. Prior to his role with JLL and Cresa, John was Senior Director and co-managing partner of the five-person tenant advisory practice group for Cushman & Wakefield of Florida, Inc. Prior to that John spent seven years as Vice President at The Hogan Group representing Teachers Insurance & Annuity Association. His responsibilities included the leasing and development of the 2.2 million square foot, 12-office building corporate office park known as Waterford at Blue Lagoon. John’s distinguishing advantage in his tenant advisory role is his prior experience representing institutional owners and understanding how a landlord underwrites and analyzes a real estate transaction. This knowledge enables him and his team to create strategies for the firm’s clients that delivers transaction structures extending beyond “market-driven” to that of client driven real estate solutions. In this capacity he also experienced the entire office building development process from design phase all the way through to the lease-up and disposition of the asset.
