ABOUT

John Krause is a Senior Vice President in the Philadelphia office of CBRE, Inc. and has been in the real estate industry since 2004. John joined CBRE in 2013 upon the acquisition of Fameco Real Estate, L.P., a leading firm specializing in retail real estate services in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. He specializes in tenant representation for national and regional retailers and restaurants expanding in the tri-state area. He has successfully executed significant rollout and expansion efforts for some of the nation’s largest retailers such as Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Ross Dress for Less, Amazon, Home Depot, Planet Fitness, Bloomin’ Brands, Advance Auto Parts, Miller’s Ale House, 2nd Avenue Thriftstore, and Kay Jewelers. He has also worked and managed extensive multi-market brokerage for many of these retailers in markets such as New York, Ohio, and North Carolina. He performs disposition services for many of these retailers as well. Additionally, John’s Landlord leasing portfolio has grown to over 3,000,000 square feet of retail space, working with local, regional and national landlord’s such as Simon Property Group, Acadia Realty Trust, The Goldenberg Group, Equus Capital Partners, Kravco Company, Stoltz Management and Blank Aschkenasy Properties. As a landlord’s agent, John has successfully represented property owners and developers in both the leasing and re-development of assets ranging from power centers, community and neighborhood centers and freestanding buildings. Prior to joining Fameco, John worked for Interstate Commercial Real Estate, Inc, where he exclusively represented Commerce Bank, N.A., through its expansion in the Mid-Atlantic region. He is a graduate of Drexel University where he earned a B.S. in Business Finance. John is also an active member of ICSC.
