For more than two decades, John Hamilton has been aiding clients in building and maintaining their wealth through multi-family investment opportunities. He has extensive knowledge serving the Southeast Region, which he brings to Marcus & Millichap. John Hamilton, a veteran of the real estate industry, has completed over 300 apartment transactions, totaling 40,000 units, across a range of multifamily assets in primary, secondary, and tertiary markets. His career began in 1999 with the sale of his first apartment complex in Shreveport, Louisiana, after which he established his own firm dedicated to the brokerage of multifamily communities. Since then, John has become a trusted advisor to investors, developers, and lenders nationwide. He has served on the board of directors of the Louisiana Multi-Family Association and is a member of the National Multi-Family Housing Council. John is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS), where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. During his time there, he was actively involved in the LSUS Pilots, Basketball, Baseball, and Rotary Club. John is a devoted family man who cherishes spending time with his wife and three children, all of whom are avid soccer players.
