I have been working in the Real Estate business my entire life. As a child and teenager my father – one of the first licensed Florida Real Estate Brokers – would take me on his appointments to preview homes, development sites and buildings throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast. I was taught to love and value the entire real estate sales process. My early career was in site sales for a development in Hobe Sound. In the mid 1980’s, I went into banking and became proficient in the mortgage and real estate financing sectors. In the early 1990’s, I moved to Martin County where I opened my own business that grew to be very successful in the food service industry. Later, I became an investment advisor and the vice president of a large regional bank. I was originally licensed to sell real estate in 1981. I started selling real estate again in 2003 as a sales associate. I worked with several firms and one auction company before acquiring my broker’s license and starting what became Sailfish Realty of Florida, and eventually Engel & Völkers Stuart. With my diverse background in real estate sales, I have sold large parcels of land, commercial buildings, and residential homes. Home sales have included small starter homes for 60,000 dollars all the way to private estate homes valued over 2 million dollars. As the managing broker of Engel & Völkers Stuart, I have always maintained that the clients best interests are the first priority in all discussions. Whether a buyer or seller, it is my primary goal to keep my clients well informed of the market conditions and provide them with the expertise they need to make an informed real estate decision.
