John Genovese

John Genovese has over 30+ years of retail management and real estate experience giving him a unique perspective of real estate through the balanced eyes of an operator and real estate professional. Starting with Genovese Drug Stores in operations management and real estate, then as a preferred developer for Walgreens and lastly leading the real estate division of Modell’s Sporting Goods. With this experience, John is well versed in all of the New York Tri-state markets while establishing direct relationships with all top landlords such as Kimco, Simon, Brixmor, Federal Realty, Treeco, Breslin, Lerner Properties, Acadia Realty Trust and most top NYC landlords and developers. The same holds true within the brokerage and retail communities. John is a New York State licensed real estate broker and a 20-year member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. With an undergraduate BFA degree from Parsons School of Design and an MBA from Adelphi University, John lives in Cold Spring Harbor, NY with his wife Laurie, two children and four dogs.
