After 11 years at the Dial Companies where he became National Director of Leasing and oversaw all leasing of Dial REIT properties across 10 states he moved to the private sector. He served as director of development with Cormac Company over the next 10 years developing in excess of six million square feet of retail in the upper Midwest. His instinct for demographics, traffic and customer patterns have helped him build a tenant representation portfolio of retailers including Gap, Bed Bath & Beyond, Main Event, ULTA, Michaels, Fresh Thyme, Best Buy, Floor & Décor, Mills Fleet Farm, TruFit Athletic Club, Barnes & Noble, Container Store, West Elm, TMobile, Total Wine & More, Kirklands, Pet Supplies Plus, Hal Smith Restaurant Group, Thirsty Lion, Giordanos and Coppers Hawk. John graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nebraska, holds real estate licenses in multiple states and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
