John Buckley is an Executive Vice President for JLL’s New Jersey brokerage group. He provides corporate representation for both the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate and manages strategic planning and site development activities, with expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. John is a member of JLL’s Life Science Practice Group and focuses on providing clients with strategic solutions to their specialized facility needs. John’s expertise in the life science industry has resulted in the sale or lease of over 2 million square feet of laboratory, R&D and manufacturing facilities, including the disposition of Hoffman-LaRoche’s 1.5 million square foot R&D headquarters in Nutley, NJ for which John was awarded the NAIOP Deal of the Year Award in 2016. 2016 NAIOP deal of the year and multiple headquarters transactions, John is widely recognized as a top broker in his market. John has also be recognized within JLL as a “Top Achiever” based on revenue generated from 2013-2018. Mr. Buckley has successfully completed deals on behalf of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, King Pharmaceuticals, IEEE, Travelers Insurance, HCT Packaging, Ports America, Southwest Securities and Log-Net. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Buckley was an Associate of The Staubach Company’s New Jersey office. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle in July of 2008 as a result of the merger with The Staubach Company. Prior to The Staubach Company, Mr. Buckley was employed with Goldman Sachs & Co as an analyst in the firm’s Client Services Group. Mr. Buckley was also an active participant in Community Outreach by Athletes who Care about Helping (C.O.A.C.H) program.
