I moved to Colorado in 1995 with the intention of skiing Vail for a year but upon arrival, I just couldn't leave this great state. After 5 years working in some incredible hotels in Vail and Beaver Creek, I moved to the front range to pursue a career in real estate and began managing properties for Emerald Management in Boulder CO. Through my 20 years there, I worked in every aspect of a commercial property management (CPM) managing over a million square feet of Retail, Industrial, and office space. I also utilized my IT skills setting up the companies first network server with shared internet, e-mail addresses, and implementation of the companies first website. After the initial 5 years there, I took on an office manager role that handled the hiring processes, employee record keeping, time off requests, new employee training, and the scheduling of our maintenance crews as well as overseeing the bookkeeping (AR/AP's), bank deposits, and owner draws etc. for over 50 bank accounts for properties, and personal accounts of the company owner(s). As a CPM, , I was responsible for all tenant and vendor relations, routine and immediate maintenance needs, NNN reconciliations, budgeting, Implementing and overseeing Capitol and TI Improvements as well as leasing. Over time however I continued with Property Management, but opened the Emerald Real Estate Group (EREG) to assist in the leasing of commercial properties, but also to assist the ownership in property acquisitions and new development. Most recently assisted in the development and leasing and sales of a 54 unit industrial complex in Frederick CO where I leased and/or sold all 54 units within a year of the buildings completion. As the brokerage business was building, I left behind the management world, but worked along side Emerald Management continuing their leasing and sales as the Employing Broker for EREG. During Co-Vid (2020), I was approached by, and accepted a position at Summit Commercial Brokers to expand my brokerage experience and knowledge. At Summit Commercial, I work with a team of Commercial Brokers collectively with Buyer/Seller(s), as well as Tenant/Landlord Rep. Since joining Summit Commercial, we have been recognized by BIZ West as the second fastest growing private company boosting our revenues 137% from 2020 to 2021.
