Jim Thorp

Jim Thorp serves as an Executive Managing Director of the Tenant Representation team. Having been active in corporate real estate for over 30 years, Jim has been involved in all aspects of the industry; however, he specializes in tenant representation for office clients. Prior to joining JLL, Jim was a founding member of Keystone Partners and a Senior Vice President with Binswanger CBB, where he assisted office clients with lease negotiations and site selections on a regional, national, and global basis. Jim graduated of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jim is a Member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors. He is also a member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. Jim is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in North and South Carolina. Jim is married with two children and has two Welsh Corgis. He is active at Christ Church as a current member of the Vestry, as well as long-time Acolyte Advisor. An avid Tar Heel, Jim also enjoys any amount of time at Wrightsville Beach, as much snow skiing as possible, golf with buddies, and early morning exercise at the Aquatic and Cornwell Centers.
