Jim Shepherd

Jim joined Lockehouse Retail Group in August 2015 as part of the team that is the new office in Walnut Creek. Prior to joining Lockehouse, Jim was a Managing Director with Newmark Cornish & Carey for 13 years. Prior to Cornish and Carey, Jim spent five years with The Staubach Company in San Francisco as a retail broker and several years in hi-tech sales. Jim’s has extensive experience with local and national retailers (both large and small) in tenant representation, landlord representation, and investments. As a Bay Area native, he prides himself on his superior market knowledge, relationships with his clients, and his brokerage expertise. Jim graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and was awarded his California State Broker’s License in 2001. He currently resides in Lafayette with his wife Jenny and their two children Matthew and Sarah. During his free time Jim enjoys cycling, running, snow and water sports, and spending time with this family.
