Jim Schoolfield specializes in representing the interests of occupier clients across North America, as well as internationally. Jim’s experience includes strategic planning, corporate lease and purchase negotiations, comparative financial analysis and implementing operating expense reduction strategies, as well as a background in construction management. Jim’s extraordinary service ethic, combined with his thorough understanding of the entire real estate process and intricacies of effective leveraging, ensures his clients’ expectations are always exceeded. Over the course of his career, Jim has worked on real estate transactions in excess of $500 million. Prior to joining JLL, Jim was with CBRE from 2016 to 2020. Jim was also a Senior Vice President at Cresa for seven years. Jim began his career in real estate at Precision Development, where Jim provided oversight of construction management for multiple projects such as the 500,000 SF Discovery Communications World Corporate Headquarters and the $150 million Market Common mixed-use development in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He also worked on the restoration of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, where his expertise resulted in a savings of more than $12 million.
