Jim Roessler is a founder and principal of Roessler Investment Group (formerly Raphel Roessler Retail Group), which was established in 1993. His primary areas of focus are Real Estate Investments and Retail Consulting. In the real estate industry since 1969, Mr. Roessler has been involved in the sale of over $1 billion of investment property. Mr. Roessler has sold primarily shopping centers although he has also sold a number of office, industrial and multi-residential properties. Mr. Roessler has worked in a consulting and expert witness capacity for attorneys, real estate developers, institutional owners and buyers of real estate. As an Asset Manager, Mr. Roessler was in charge of real estate portfolios totaling approximately $200 million throughout the Western United States including office, retail, industrial and multi-residential properties. Prior to the establishment of Roessler Investment Group, Jim was affiliated with Feher Young & Associates, a San Francisco-based investment brokerage, where he specialized in shopping centers and other retail properties; Fox & Carskadon Financial Corporation (now Black Rock Real Estate Equities) as an Asset Manager specializing in shopping centers and distressed properties; Allied Brokers, San Jose, developing leases for the first Burger King Restaurants and Longs Drug Stores in Santa Clara County; and Norris Beggs & Simpson, as Property Manager in San Francisco, San Jose and Honolulu. He began his real estate career with Bank of America, Real Estate Department in San Francisco. Mr. Roessler is a graduate of Stanford University and later earned his Certified Property Manager designation. Additionally, Mr. Roessler has been an instructor of real estate at the college level and has sat on ICSC panels pertaining to shopping center and retail investments.
