Mr. Lewis has extensive experience in investment banking and real estate finance. At Cushman & Wakefield he specializes in assisting clients with real estate acquisition, disposition and financing. Since joining C&W in 2005, his team has successfully closed real estate transactions for a combined total of over $560 million and total aggregate square footage of over 1.5 million square feet. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Lewis worked for Mindlin Companies, a private real estate investment firm. There he identified and analyzed office and industrial investment opportunities for the firm. Additionally, he was involved in the initial stages of raising a $25 million real estate investment fund. Jim’s investment banking experience includes advising businesses on mergers and acquisitions. This included business valuation, identifying acquisition targets and managing the merger and acquisition process. Jim and his wife host an annual fundraiser benefiting local charities. Jim has a degree in Finance from Linfield College and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He was awarded the Oregon/SW Washington Commercial Association of Realtors “Rookie of the Year” for 2006. Additionally, he was designated a Power Broker by CoStar Group based on 2006 sales volume. Jim received the Cushman & Wakefield “Sale of the Year” award in 2006 and again in 2008. Jim is a frequent guest lecturer on the topic of real estate finance at Portland State University.
