Jim Alexander

Jim is joining Gundaker Commercial Group following a successful 35-year career as an economic development professional. His experience includes leadership positions with regional economic development groups, Big 4 professional services firms, and Fortune 500 corporations. Most recently, Jim retired from AllianceSTL, an initiative of Greater St. Louis Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President of Business Attraction. Prior positions include Senior Vice President of the St. Louis Regional Chamber, Global Business Development and Alliance Manager for Praxair Semiconductor Materials, Credits and Incentives Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Economic Development Manager for Centerior Energy and Buildings Services Division Sales Representative for Honeywell Inc. Jim’s business attraction and project management experience spans North America, Western Europe, and Asia. Jim’s professional activities include Fellow and former board member of the Industrial Asset Management Council, and board of director roles with the Midwest Cargo Hub Commission, the World Affairs Council of St. Louis, the Japan America Society of St. Louis, the Ohio Economic Development Council, the City of St. Louis Workforce Development Board, and the Missouri Partnership Advisory Council.
