Jill Tiernan

Jill Tiernan joined The Retail Connection at the launch in January 2004 as an Executive Vice President. Tiernan focuses on restaurants, retailers, listings, and strategic planning for both landlords and retailers. Tiernan is currently working with such notable clients as Eatzi’s, Doce Mesas, Cabinet Warehouse, Emily Clarke Events, Jason’s of Beverly Hills Jewelry Store, Cake Bar, Kate Weiser Chocolate, Soiree Coffee Bar, Beto & Son, Mama’s Pizza, Terlingo Fitness, Renew Beauty Med Spa, Any Lab Test, Craft Beer Market, Toppers Pizza. Recent transactions include; Crunch Fitness, Dick’s Warehouse, PoPshelf, and FreePlay. She is presently listing the high-profile Preston Shepard Place in Plano and Trinity Groves in West Dallas. She has secured deals for specialty retailers such as Ellis Hill, Dondalo, Abbott Esthetics, and Interabang Books. Jill represented Buffalo Wild Wings for over 20 years and has done significant work for Landry’s and MiCocina. Jill is well known for being instrumental in creating neighborhoods in Dallas- Deep Ellum, West End, Downtown Main Street, and Trinity Groves. Prior to joining The Retail Connection, Tiernan was a Senior Vice President of The Weitzman Group, where she was a top producer. Tiernan’s expertise includes the negotiation of property leases, ground leases, land sales, and shopping centers sales, as well as build-to-suits. In addition, Tiernan’s past experience includes representation of many Landlords, including: B H Properties, Columbus Realty Partners, Ltd., Lincoln Property Company, NewQuest, Hall Financial, and Cinemark. Jill is a member of the Dallas Assembly, Oak Lawn Committee, and International Council of Shopping Centers. Jill has chaired events for many non-profits and former board member of the Family Place. She is a high school mentor at Thomas Jefferson High School. Tiernan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Mills College in Oakland, California. She enjoys playing golf, Mahjong, Hollywood Gin Rummy, and Texas Hold’em Poker.
