Jessica L. Richer is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Hanna Commercial Real Estate and has been a full time Commercial Realtor for over 20 years. Her real estate experience includes all aspects of land development, representation of landlords and tenants for leasing of retail, office and warehouse space and selling of real estate property such as mixed-use buildings, multifamily apartment buildings, senior housing communities and all types of commercial real estate. She began her real estate career in 2000 working for The United Group of Companies, a developer of senior housing in Troy, New York. Mrs. Richer was the Director of Acquisitions. She identified development sites, negotiated the land contracts and ushered the projects through the municipal approval process. She became affiliated with RealtyUSA in 2007. The company was purchased by Howard Hanna in July 2016 and she is now affiliated with Hanna Commercial Real Estate. Mrs. Richer is a past President of the Board of Directors for the Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Brokers, Inc. (CIREB). She is a member of the New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR) and is a Past Chairperson of the Commercial Issues Workgroup. She is on the Board of Governor's of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR) as well as a member of the Capital Region Chapter for NYSCAR. She is a member of the Greater Capital Association of Realtors (GCAR) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Since 2017, Mrs. Richer has been awarded the National Sales Excellence Award by the Realty Alliance, a network of North America’s elite real estate firms. The award recognizes the production of high sales volume achieved and is only given to the top 5% of realtors nationally. She is serving her third term as an appointed member of the Board of Assessment Review for the Town of Bethlehem, NY. Mrs. Richer is one of three professionals chosen by COSTAR to serve as a Judge of the Annual COSTAR Impact Awards which recognizes the Best Commercial Real Estate Projects and Transactions in the Capital Region of New York State.
