Jeff Shugarts

Jeff specializes in multi-family investments in the greater Charlotte market. He advises his clients on the acquisition and disposition of their assets, takes time to really understand and align with their goals, and provides them with the most comprehensive commercial real estate services. He is a member of the McDaniel Team, which has closed over $700 Million in Real Estate transactions focused primarily on the A/B/C market rate, student housing, LIHTC apartments, undeveloped land, and manufactured housing. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap Jeff was a professional football player and successful entrepreneur. He won 3 Big Ten Championships at The Ohio State University, coached college football at the Univ of Toledo, and played for multiple teams in the NFL. After football, Jeff helped start a few local businesses in Columbus, OH, and thrived in several varying sales roles throughout his career. His love for teamwork, high-pressure situations, and winning drive him to succeed and help others along the way. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys exercising his green thumb, hot yoga, trips to the farmers market, and taking his new wife out to her favorite Thai spots.
