Jeff Nichols is a senior vice president and retail expert at CBRE, based in Newport Beach, CA. With 20 years of experience, Jeff and his partner Ryan Sullivan, are the preeminent retail leasing experts in the region. The team’s primary focus is on the retail occupier business throughout Southern California and Hawaii. The team has represented several of the best national retail brands in the country, including Nordstrom Rack, Nordstrom Local, Burlington Stores, Sprouts Farmers Market, LA Fitness, ULTA Beauty, Floor & Décor, Orchard Supply Hardware, Kirkland’s, Home Depot, Target, Dick’s and Nike, among others. Prior to joining CBRE, Jeff and Ryan built Western Retail Advisors’ California operations. The firm was a leading full-service retail brokerage provider. As principals, the duo’s focus was on providing retail tenant representation and shopping center and landlord leasing services throughout the region. Jeff has extensive experience assisting major landlords such as Vestar, Alberta Development, Burnham USA and Pacific Development. Jeff boasts a strong network of relationships with developers, property owners, brokers, and city officials. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in political science.
