Jeff Jansen, CCIM, serves as senior Advisor for ALTUS Commercial Real Estate (formerly doing business as Sperry Van Ness Commercial Real Estate Advisors), specializing in the sale and leasing of office, retail and industrial property in Southern Wisconsin. As a licensed Wisconsin broker, Jansen has been in the commercial real estate business in Madison since 1986. Prior work in the industry includes serving as a broker for First Weber Group, Commercial Division, the largest brokerage firm in Wisconsin. While there, he was involved in the expansion of the division. Previously Jansen was Director of Property Management at the Alexander companies, and President of Greenway Properties. His extensive commercial real estate background includes tenant and buyer representation for local and national companies, sales and leasing, property management, construction management, land and building development, adaptive reuse, multifamily sales and development, consulting and site selection. Jansen earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1998, which is held by less than 4 percent of commercial brokers nationwide. He served as President of the CCIM Wisconsin Chapter in 2005. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Realtors Association where he serves on the Professional Standards Committee. In addition, he is a member of The Commercial Brokers Group, The REALTORS Association of South Central Wisconsin, The Synergists, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Madison Apartment Owners Association, the Middleton Chamber of Commerce, Monona East Side Business Association, and Downtown Madison, Inc. Jansen obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.
