Jeff Hunter, broker-in-charge of JWCG, combines a wealth of experience with a deep commitment to excellence in land development. In 2000, he joined his brother Neal to develop over 300 acres near Jordan Lake into Colvard Farms, one of RTP's premier luxury home communities. In 2019, he partnered with the Julie Wright Realty Group to drive sales and profitability in the Durham County section of the subdivision, highlighting his expertise in development, project management, and transactional success. A graduate of NC State, Jeff brings over 40 years of diverse business experience, including co-founding and serving as the former CEO and Chairman of a small-cap public company. He has a proven track record in managing rapidly growing organizations, with more than 12 years of involvement in North Carolina's biotechnology sector. In 2013, the Triangle Business Journal recognized Mr. Hunter as a top executive in his field and he served on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Biotechnology Center from 2015 to 2019 Jeff was inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of his grandfather, a dedicated farmer and inductee to the North Carolina Agriculture Hall of Fame. Working on the family farm as a teenager instilled in him the values of hard work, perseverance, and innovation. With a proven ability to guide complex projects and navigate regulatory landscapes, Jeff offers JWCG clients a strategic, personalized approach to achieving their real estate goals.
