Jeff Heaton, SIOR, CCIM, serves as an Executive Managing Director in the Salt Lake City office of Newmark, where he specializes in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of industrial properties across the Wasatch front. Heaton joined Newmark Grubb ACRES in 2000 as a market researcher and cold caller and was later responsible for initiating projects on behalf of the firm’s top producing team. Over the last 18 years, Heaton has completed just under 600 transactions totaling over $375 million. As a member of the market’s top industrial real estate group, he has acquired a superior understanding of not only deal flow but also market data and knowledge. By effectively communicating this information to his clients, Heaton is able to help them make the best decisions for their businesses. As both a tenant and landlord representative, Heaton understands the process and many players and moving parts that are involved in a transaction. He also knows that companies become market leaders through quick decision-making. His goal is to provide his clients with the information they need to make those decisions and advise them on acting accordingly.
