JD Torian

Prior to joining Cushman, Torian served as the CEO and Managing Partner of Austin’s Pizza from 2005-2018 where he turned a local chain from barely operable to iconic and increased gross sales from 6.8M to over 12.5M without a net increase in store count. Due to the restaurant’s success, Torian was able to open, close, or renew 22+ locations around the Austin area and managed 300 employees with some staying for his entire ownership tenure. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Austin. Torian is a board member of ARC of the Capital Area and for the University of Texas Libraries Advisory Council where he also served as the past president.
