JD Christie

Jon David (J.D.) joined AREA Real Estate Advisors in 2017 as a retail broker. J.D. has been involved in many facets of commercial real estate including landlord leasing, green field and value add retail development, incentives (TIF, TDD, CID), investment sales/ acquisitions, and developer representation. J.D. has experience in every phase of the development process, including site evaluation and selection, entitlements, underwriting, public incentive negotiation, leasing and asset disposition. A firm believer in investing in relationships, J.D. has been fortunate to work with multiple tenants in different markets throughout Kansas and Missouri. J.D. grew up in Fairway, KS and has been a lifelong Kansas City resident. Prior to joining AREA, J.D. worked for Christie Development Associates, where he focused on leasing the firm’s existing and new development retail properties. Jon David enjoys golfing, hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his wife, Sabaria, and daughter, Savannah.
