JD Brisk

JD’s business card should simply read "Entrepreneur - Inventor – Philosopher." From his first business venture at the age of six to Vice President at a $2B international IT company, JD has been "takin' care of business" for a half century. As the co-founder of KeyLabs, Altiris, LAC and other tech companies, JD built the IT industry’s largest independent testing facility, pioneered the concept of behavioral testing, and was the first commercial adopter of P2P computing on the Internet. In addition to his business success, with his broad-based experience JD works his magic in all areas of commercial real estate with emphasis on land acquisition and office sales and leasing, tenant representation, and property management. He has also been a developer of recreational properties and mixed-use and multi-family projects. Recognized as a "Top Producer" several times and typically orchestrates 60 to 100 deals a year. JD is also a key player in building design, construction and renovation. His efforts are currently focused on the development of the tallest Class A office and mixed use building between Salt Lake and Vegas. JD has been the featured executive in Utah Business Magazine and nominated as entrepreneur of the year. He was a founding member of two Advisory Boards at Westminster College. He enjoys using his gray hair and battle scars to mentor small businesses, and he volunteers his leadership with non-profit organizations like the Boy Scouts and the Police. He helped develop the Volunteers in Police Service program and has consulted nationally about the program. Folks welcome his laconic, down-to-earth demeanor and common sense approach.
