Jay Whelchel

Jay Whelchel is Principal and Founder of Whelchel Partners Real Estate Services. As a licensed real estate salesperson, licensed mortgage broker and Certified Investment Member (CCIM), Jay has sold and leased over 1,000,000 million square feet worth $200 million of real estate mostly located in the South Florida area. Jay successfully completed a portfolio sale of properties in Boca Raton for his client in the amount of $97 Million. Jay Whelchel has been a long time resident of the City of Boca Raton since 1978 and graduated with an Engineering degree from Florida State University. In Jay’s hometown of Boca Raton, he grew up playing soccer at “St. Andrews Soccer Club” the predecessor to SABRE Soccer, as well as Boca Jets. Jay attended Spanish River High School and is member of Grace Community Church. Jay currently lives in East Boca Raton with wife, Melissa and son Jack. Jay is a community leader serving as a Board Member of the Boca Raton Historical Society and the George Snow Scholarship Foundation. On August 20th, Jay recently helped raise over $160,000 for the George Snow Scholarship fund by participating as one of the performers in the “Boca Ballroom Battle” (and winning the male division).
