Jay joined Cresa in 2015 as an Illinois licensed broker with a focus on industrial and industrial transactions since 2004. Prior to Cresa, Jay Cook has 25 years of material handling and operational technology experience; cube & space efficiencies, high-bay rack systems, high velocity inventory turns, order-picking, SKU throughput, temp-control & cold chain management, 3-PL & 4-PL platforms, conveyor systems and automation. Along with Jay’s consulting real estate service, he offers cost-segregation studies, appraisals for insurance, banking, merger & acquisition, private equity, legal and specialized transaction areas. Previously, he served as a Senior Vice President-Consulting where he was a tenant/user representation specialist with a focus on operational technologies, warehousing/logistics, food facilities, and material handling solutions for his real estate client base. Jay has also had a distinguished sales career in the industrial equipment arena as National Accounts Manager for Nissan Forklift Corporation, Crown Equipment, and The Raymond Corporation.
