Jason Pierson

Jason founded Pierson Commercial in the Fall of 2011. He is one of the foremost trusted real estate advisors in the commercial retail real estate brokerage industry serving many Fortune 500 retailers, REITS, private equity firms and institutional property holders. Established in 2011, Pierson Commercial is a leading retail-focused commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm providing a full range of acquisition, disposition and leasing services. Headquartered in Marlboro, N.J., with an office in New York City, the company’s broad client base encompasses institutional property holders and multi-faceted real estate developers, as well as approximately two dozen regional and national retailers with growth strategies targeting New Jersey. In total, Pierson Commercial’s retail leasing and property marketing assignments span over 6 million square feet of retail space across major downtown redevelopments, ground-up new construction and existing retail shopping centers. Prior to starting Pierson Commercial, Jason was a leader for CBRE Inc.'s ("CBRE") Central and Northern New Jersey retail brokerage division. He was a member of CBRE's retail brokerage group in New York City before joining CBRE's New Jersey Retail Group in 2007. Jason has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and minor in Economics from The University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New Jersey and a licensed salesperson in the State of New York. Jason is the New Jersey ICSC government relations co-chair, a former advisory board member for the Rutgers University Center for Real Estate, and an advisory board member and guest lecturer at Monmouth University’s Kislak Real Estate Institute. He is an active member of the community contributing to several charity organizations.
