One of the greatest things about this Country is our ability to own land, and the first step to financial well-being is making the choice to own land. Jamie truly enjoys helping others achieve this goal of owning land. Growing up in Northwest Missouri, watching his father in the business, and selling real estate has enabled him to purchase land in Northwest Missouri. Therefore, he will be the first to testify, “Own land as soon as you can!” Jamie’s first real estate purchase was a two-bedroom home. This initial equity enabled and encouraged him to purchase a timbered tract he converted to a duck lake Northwest of the Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge. It was the sale of this tract of land that enabled him to exchange into a slightly larger tract. Several years, and 3 children later, he now operates and manages several thousand acres of cropland, waterfowl hunting areas, and leases duck blinds in the area. He says, “Buying Land was the best decision I ever made, second only to choosing my wife!”
