James V. Carter

James V. Carter is the founder of Apartment Realty Group, Inc and is the firm’s Senior Manager Partner. James also serves as the Managing Director of the firm’s Multi-Family Brokerage Group. James oversees and directs all brokerage and capital market operations for the firm. James graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Business Administration, holds a California Real Estate Brokers License and is also a Member of both the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and the San Diego Apartment Association (SDCAA). After a successful tenure with a San Diego-based apartment brokerage firm and also serving as a ‘Top Producing’ Multi-Family Sales Agent with a large national firm, James created ARG to provide clients with the benefits of the firm’s unique platform which emphasizes client relationships and superior results. James specializes in the brokerage of multi-family apartment properties in San Diego and Southern California and advises his clients on successful disposition and acquisition strategies that maximize value. James also assists clients in executing 1031 tax-deferred exchange transactions nationwide
