James Seo has over 20 years of industry experience specializing in advisory and tenant representation for office, retail, and industrial users, with particular expertise in real estate strategy and portfolio management for large corporations. James provides both logistical and advisory services to his clients. His expertise includes site selection, investment sales, sale leasebacks, database mapping and complex financial analysis, lease administration support, managing RFP and timeline documentation processes, broker selection, and market analysis. James has worked on several office and retail transactions in the New York Area, ranging from small startup offices to large corporate headquarter relocations. His experience extends beyond the metropolitan area, overseeing transactions across the United States, as well as abroad. For the past five years, James was Managing Director at a boutique commercial real estate firm, Hanley Advisors, where he did work for Jarden Corporation, Richemont North America, and Swett & Crawford. Prior to that, James was an Account Director at Cushman & Wakefield for almost fifteen years. He managed several corporate accounts, including UBS, Revlon, Thomson Reuters, WPP and JP Morgan Chase. James received a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University, holds real estate broker licenses in the state of New York and Florida, as well as a LEED Green Associate designation. He served on the Alumni Association Executive Committee and as co-Chair of the Asian Pacific American Alumni Council for the Wesleyan University. He also served on the Executive Committee and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Korean American Community Foundation.
