James Palmer

James Palmer is a founding member of Fortress Realty Partners. Prior to Fortress, he was a Principle at Avison Young subsequent to the acquisition of Millennium Realty Advisors, where he was a Vice President in Transaction Services. Experienced with both institutional owners and local investors, his current and former clients include AAFMAA, Zumot Real Estate Management, Washington Real Estate Investment Trust, Liberty Property Company, PS Business Parks, Clark Realty Advisors, The Alter Group and JP Morgan/Carr Properties. As a former U.S. Air Force officer with Federal budget and intelligence community experience, James is well equipped to assist tenants and landlords who deal with Federal agencies, their direct and subcontractors, with specific security, communications, lease structure and facility requirements. Prior to joining Millennium, James was a Senior Associate in Transaction Services with Grubb & Ellis, achieving Rookie of the Year honors. Prior to entering the commercial real estate business, he was the Vice President of Manufacturing for Palmer Engineering, a manufacturing firm providing precision engineered components to federal and state agencies, as well as a customer base to include Ingersoll Rand, John Deere, Cushman, Browning, Sunbeam, Bobcat and others.
