James Blair is a Senior Vice President of Investments at Marcus and Millichap, where he specializes in multifamily sales throughout British Columbia. James’ career in real estate spans more than 10 years. He joined Marcus and Millichap in August 2020 after nearly 5 years as a leading producer at a global real estate firm and several years prior at a boutique multifamily firm in Vancouver. Based in Vancouver, James leads a team along with his partner, Patrick McEvay, who specialize in representing apartment building owners and investors in the disposition and acquisition of apartment buildings. With experience in every major market of the province, James has been involved in the sale of over 200 apartment buildings and development sites, amassing over $1 billion of sales transactions. James earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria, volunteers with various charities in the city and is dedicated to mentoring students at SFU’s Beedie School of Business. Outside of the office, James enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, travelling, cooking, and spending as much time outside in the beautiful province of BC.
