Jake’s distinguished background in commercial real estate started as an investment analyst, where he meticulously underwrote over one billion dollars’ worth of commercial real estate across all asset classes including a focus on multifamily and retail investment properties. Prior to his tenure at Levin Johnston, he began his real estate journey with the Leasing Department of DLC Management, a nationally recognized shopping center operator, gaining comprehensive knowledge of triple net leases and the intricacies of the leasing process. As a dedicated real estate investor, Jake prioritizes the best interests of his clients, drawing from personal experience in navigating the complexities of real estate investment. His expertise in 1031 exchanges and cost segregation strategies enables him to provide valuable guidance to clients seeking strategic trades that facilitate wealth expansion while mitigating tax obligations. Born and raised in Los Gatos, CA, Jake attended Los Gatos High School where he played both basketball and football for the Wildcats. Following high school, Jake attended the prestigious Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, concentrating on real estate and finance. Throughout his collegiate journey, he played an instrumental role in managing various student organizations including the Indiana University Real Estate Club and FED at IU. Beyond his professional pursuits, Jake enjoys cooking, reading, snowboarding, and, above all, spending quality time with friends and family.
