Jack Duke

Jack has over 30 years of Property Management and Leasing experience with neighborhood and community shopping centers, general office and medical office buildings and office warehouse/ service center properties consisting of approximately 50 shopping centers and 20 office buildings totaling 4,000,000 square feet. In 1973 he became a Property Manager responsible for the D. B. Harrell Management Co.''s portfolio of shopping centers, office buildings and industrial properties. He prepared budgets and cash flow projections, negotiated and prepared leases and handled all repairs and remodeling. In 1979 Jack was appointed President of D. B. Harrell Management Co., a position that he still holds today. He has responsibility for management of the company''s portfolio including asset management oversight of all properties, handling major problems and remodeling of existing properties and the training and oversight of staff and property managers. Duties also include consulting with property owners regarding acquisition and disposition of properties. Jack is or has been involved in the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, Building Owners and Managers Association, San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, San Antonio Board of Realtors Commercial Investment Division and the San Antonio Real Estate Council.
