J.T. Jenkins

J.T. Jenkins was born and raised in Butler, Choctaw County, Alabama, and received a B. S. in Human Services from the University of South Alabama in 1987. Jenkins is a lifelong resident of south Alabama having worked in Mobile and Baldwin Counties for over 25 years. He has served the citizens of this state as an enforcement officer, then Chief Enforcement Officer of the Marine Resources Division; Director of the Alabama Marine Police; and Deputy Director of the Alabama Department of Homeland Security. He led disaster response and relief efforts during Hurricane Katrina (2005), the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill (2010), and the horrendous tornado outbreak in north Alabama (2011). Jenkins was recognized with the highest honor in Alabama by being awarded the Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor in 2006. Mr. Jenkins launched his career in commercial real estate in 2016, joining NAI Mobile as a sales and leasing consultant. In 2020, Jenkins’ achieved his CCIM designation – a very highly sought after achievement. Then at the start of 2021, Jenkins took part in the rebranding efforts to create CRE Mobile. Jenkins’ professional areas of expertise include retail and industrial sales and leasing, and professional office properties. He is particularly well acquainted with the needs and requirements of rural landowners.
