J. R. Burdette

J.R. Burdette is a Senior Sales Associate with Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite. Mr. Burdette has 40 years of experience in land development, commercial and residential, sales, leasing, and acquisitions. He specializes, in land, contract negotiations, site location and consulting; represents principles as buyers, tenants, sellers, and landlords. He has located or sold sites for physicians, spas/health, and fitness users, big box, convenience stores, fast food restaurants, auto repair, contractors, developers, investors, churches, marinas, sports clubs as well as state and local government. From 2006 until 2012 he was employed by the Fredericksburg area developer Silver Companies as the Acquisitions Manager and as a Project Manager with duties expanding into sales and leasing. Mr. Burdette started his real estate career in 1983 with one of Silver's Land and Timber companies as a sales agent and later became the Acquisitions Manager. From 1987 until 2006 he was the Owner and President of MBM Land Sales, Inc. which operated in the Fredericksburg, Virginia, area and surrounding counties and also in southwest Florida. Prior to working in real estate, he served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Investigator and was assigned to provide personal security for the Deputy Commander In Chief of NATO stationed at Stuttgart, Germany.
