Today his portfolio includes retail, office, industrial and multifamily properties, which means having experience with many different types of buildings with a broad spectrum of tenants. In addition to his experience as a principal, he has enjoyed a career as a commercial real estate broker and consultant, negotiating transactions for retail, office, industrial, institutional and multifamily buildings. Ito has brokered deals with players such as Target, Staples, Peet’s Coffee, Sports Basement, U.C. Berkeley – and all the way across the spectrum to mom and pop stores to office tenants and industrial uses. He was named a “Power Broker” by the CoStar Group. At times he is brokering transactions representing the buyer or seller, tenant or landlord, or in many cases, himself. In short, he is accustomed to wearing many hats.
